About the Role
We are looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (Cold Caller) who can generate qualified leads and open doors in the P&C insurance sector. This is a high-volume outbound calling role (200+ calls per day) that requires strong persistence, professionalism, and the ability to quickly engage senior decision-makers in insurance companies, MGAs, and brokers.
The ideal candidate will be able to understand BindExpress’ value, navigate the insurance ecosystem, and book qualified meetings for our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Make 200+ outbound cold calls daily to P&C insurance carriers, MGAs, and reinsurance brokers.
- Introduce BindExpress and clearly communicate its benefits in streamlining policy, billing, and claims management.
- Identify prospects who are evaluating or considering new policy management systems.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule meetings/demos for the senior sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and lead status in CRM.
- Follow up diligently on warm leads and nurture opportunities until handoff.
- Handle objections professionally and position BindExpress as a trusted, long-term solution.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine scripts, messaging, and outreach strategies.
Requirements
- Proven success as an SDR, Cold Caller, or Telemarketer in a B2B environment.
- High call volume experience (200+ calls/day) required.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a confident and professional phone presence.
- Ability to quickly grasp BindExpress’ value proposition and explain complex concepts simply.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Resilient, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Prior experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions.
- Understanding of insurance distribution models (carriers, MGAs, agents, brokers).
